During grad school, I developed dyshidrotic eczema on my hands that was so bad, I’d wake up bleeding in the middle of the night. I used to always wear gloves to protect my delicate skin from cracking open + from water (because it burned so badly).

This journey to heal my eczema inspired me to dive into the research + rethink everything we know about what drives chronic skin problems (even the functional/integrative model is really flawed).

In 2019, I launched the Healthy Skin Show podcast which now has over 300 episodes + over 1 MILLION downloads worldwide.
